The Rangbhang Tabakoshi Homestay Owners Association has officially announced that homestay services resumed from 12th October 2025, bringing renewed joy to this charming valley near Mirik.
Although the heavy rains had briefly affected the area, Tabakoshi now stands completely safe for visitors. Moreover, all homestays located above and away from the riverside are fully operational and welcoming guests again. After thorough inspection, the Association has confidently declared Tabakoshi very safe for tourism and ready to host travelers.
Interestingly, there is no problem in reaching Tabakoshi. Roads leading from Nipa via Mirik remain open and smooth, while routes connecting Darjeeling and nearby destinations continue to function normally. Additionally, a temporary cross-river route to Mirik is under arrangement and will open soon, making travel even more convenient.
